Blake Lively posed for Baz Luhrmann’s cover story photos for Vogue, alongside her husband Ryan Reynolds’s co-star Hugh Jackman from Deadpool and Wolverine.
Blake Lively’s recent Vogue cover story photoshoot has gone viral on the internet. In addition to looking amazing in vintage ensembles created by Baz Luhrmann, she also struck up numerous photo ops with Hugh Jackman, her husband Ryan Reynolds’s co-star in Deadpool and Wolverine.
Ali Fazal Spotted With Bake Lively & Hugh Jackman
One of the photos contains an Easter egg for the Desi fans as well. There are many well-known faces in the backdrop of the still where Blake is leaning against a casino table while wearing a golden attire. Actor Ali Fazal is among them, observing the gambling table with great attention while donning a golden sherwani. Ali is no stranger to Hollywood, having been in movies such as Kandahar, Death on the Nile, Victoria & Abdul, and Furious 7.
Hugh and Blake’s Chemistry
Hugh and Blake were photographed together on the September cover of Vogue. Baz set them up like characters from an Alfred Hitchcock film. Hugh’s “L’Ombre” and Blake’s “The Cat,” both twinning in black, paid homage to Cary Grant and Grace Kelly from Alfred Hitchcock’s 1955 film To Catch A Thief.
In a different photo, they’re taken to a beach, where Hugh is dressed in similar striped shorts and shirt, his buttons undone, and Blake is wearing a pink and white swimsuit. In an alternate still, she dons a black outfit with polka dots and sits behind Hugh, who is riding a red scooter. It appears as though the two are enjoying a happy ride around the town. The images taken by Baz convey a story in and of itself. In the last one, Hugh turns away to see the police escorting Blake’s “Cat Burglar.”
The photoshoot left the internet in awe. “Hugh Jackman is really giving James Bond vibes (fire emojis),” wrote an Instagram user. “Blake and Hugh in a movie…is the pair I did not know I needed but I love it,” another commenter said. “Vogue (and magazine) storytelling is entering a new era—wowza! A third remark added, “Take that, AI. Ryan Reynolds’s references couldn’t be far behind Blake and Hugh’s enjoyment. We love to see Ryan’s two wives together, said an Instagram user. “Awww, Ryan’s wife and Blake lively,” echoed someone else.
Blake’s upcoming film appearance is in It Ends With Us, which opens this Friday. Three Bags Full: A Sheep Detective Movie is a film that Hugh is currently shooting. Ali Fazal, who was last seen in Mirzapur season 3, is currently working on projects including Thug Life, Lahore 1947, and Metro In Dino.
